A quick heads up to let you know about an exciting event we have coming up in the diary with our friends over at Destination Nene Valley.
Well here at SVCHQ, in addition to gearing up for a very busy end to 2018, we’ve been hard at work this last few weeks focussed on delivering a large event for one of our clients in Dallas, USA. Our client in the UK had booked a large exhibition space for a trade show and came to us with a wide and varied set of requirements…
First up we worked with the team and our delivery partners on the ground in the US to design and assemble a beautiful display system that not only drew the eye in a very busy exhibition hall, but also showcased the product beautifully.
As anyone who has attended these large scale trade shows know though; there is a lot more work goes into these shows than just turning up to a nice looking booth. In addition to this design and production service, we can handle all aspects of a successful event; from handling all onsite bookings and logistics, to health & safety paperwork and construction clearance.
Over the past few years we have delivered exhibitions for clients everywhere from Las Vegas to Dallas to London and Amsterdam and have a lot of experience handling these kinds of events for our clients.
In addition to the operational support in delivering this particular event, we also worked with the client on a number of other crucial tasks including the design and production of new marketing and sales literature for the team on the stand, the sourcing and management of hostesses to work with our team to welcome guests and even designing and delivering a number of email campaigns prior to the event to start booking meetings and potential sales for our client before they even get to the airport.
To talk to us about your requirements for events and how we might be able to assist – get in touch with us today. We look forward to hearing from you!
So you might remember that we posted on here a week or two back on the work we are doing to help with the Nene Valley Festival this year…
This week, as part of our festival outreach, we will be taking part in a drop in session at East Northamptonshire Council with our colleagues from Destination Nene Valley. This free event will take place between 10am and 12pm on Thursday July 26th.
The purpose of the event is for partners, event organisers and businesses from across the Nene Valley to join us and find out a little more on what the festival has to offer this year and how partners can get involved to both help maximise their own exposure but also work with us to help make the festival as big a success as possible.
For more information on the drop-in session, please contact us or get in touch with Karen Williams at East Northamptonshire Council.
Please note if you are unable to join us for this session, the next date will be August 30th at
Well we had a lot of fun this morning in Thrapston, with a group of businesses from the Nene Valley region who joined us for a workshop around building a sound digital strategy.
The morning covered quite a lot of ground from the principles of a sound digital strategy through to tips and tools for making the most of online activity. Hopefully folks left with at least one or two good ideas to put to the test when they get back to their desks this afternoon!
You can download the presentation from this mornings event by submitting your email address in the short form below (just like we talked about this morning guys!) so we hope some of you guys find this useful.
In the meantime, we thank the team at DNV and East Northamptonshire Council for their hospitality this morning and for looking after us. Really hope to be back in the Nene Valley soon for some more fun like this morning!
In the meantime heres some links to some of the tools and resources I mentioned:
We are super excited to announce that we are going to be holding another free marketing workshop for businesses across the Nene Valley.
We have run a couple of these sessions now with the team at East Northamptonshire Council and the Nene Valley project and they are always a really interesting mix of businesses from across the region.
Last time, we spent the morning in Thrapston learning about a whole world of new tools, apps and tricks to help businesses begin to generate more interesting and nicer looking content for their social media feeds (you can find a blog on the session over here). This time out, we are going to take that learning one step to further to begin thinking about how we can tie all of our online activity together in a more concerted, strategic way.
As usual, we aim to deliver these sessions in an informative, friendly way and send our businesses home at the end with a range of takeaways and ideas to get stuck into in their own businesses right away.
The session is taking place in Thrapston on November 23rd at the Council Chambers at East Northamptonshire Council from 10am and is completely free for businesses in the Nene Valley region.
