As we posted about recently, we’ve been really happy to be working with our friends at Canoe Two lately. As well as looking after all of their social media work however, another project we have been collaborating on has been the launch of a new website for their Boathouse space.
For anyone who hasn’t visited yet, the Boathouse shop that Canoe 2 call home these days, overlooks the Lake at the heart of Rushden Lakes and is a beautiful space. The building also features meeting rooms etc that can be hired by local businesses, groups, charities etc.
The team asked to us help deliver a small website for the facility to help drive interest in booking the space. Given a tight budget and a need to turn around the site in a very tight timeline, WordPress was a natural choice for building the site and so we were able to deliver a clean, mobile responsive website in under a week that the team were really pleased with.
We look forward to working with the team at The Boathouse over the coming weeks and months to develop the site further and hopefully help the space become a part of the vibrant community that exists along the River Nene.
