This week on the blog we thought we’d share a sneak peek at some of the work we’ve been doing of late to support the team at Tecnovap UK as they begin their approach to the market here in the UK for the first time.
Well 2020 has certainly gotten off to a bang as we get underway with a boatload of new projects across the Marketing spectrum.
A quick heads up to let you know about an exciting event we have coming up in the diary with our friends over at Destination Nene Valley.
Well for one reason and another we seem to have spent a lot of time behind the camera of late! (Which in fairness is much better for all involved than us being in front of it!)
Well here at SVCHQ, in addition to gearing up for a very busy end to 2018, we’ve been hard at work this last few weeks focussed on delivering a large event for one of our clients in Dallas, USA. Our client in the UK had booked a large exhibition space for a trade show and came to us with a wide and varied set of requirements…
First up we worked with the team and our delivery partners on the ground in the US to design and assemble a beautiful display system that not only drew the eye in a very busy exhibition hall, but also showcased the product beautifully.
As anyone who has attended these large scale trade shows know though; there is a lot more work goes into these shows than just turning up to a nice looking booth. In addition to this design and production service, we can handle all aspects of a successful event; from handling all onsite bookings and logistics, to health & safety paperwork and construction clearance.
Over the past few years we have delivered exhibitions for clients everywhere from Las Vegas to Dallas to London and Amsterdam and have a lot of experience handling these kinds of events for our clients.
In addition to the operational support in delivering this particular event, we also worked with the client on a number of other crucial tasks including the design and production of new marketing and sales literature for the team on the stand, the sourcing and management of hostesses to work with our team to welcome guests and even designing and delivering a number of email campaigns prior to the event to start booking meetings and potential sales for our client before they even get to the airport.

As we’ve posted about a couple of times over the recent weeks and months (and posted about plenty on social media) we’ve been really excited to be working on a new podcast recently for the team at Destination Nene Valley.
Every year, the team at DNV put on the Nene Valley Festival and we were honoured to be bought on board this year to assist with the social media element of the festival.
As well as the usual Facebook / Twitter and other activity around the festival (and the curation of a dedicated festival blog for the first time to bring the festival to life in a little more detail) we were also very excited that the team were keen to go forward with our idea for a festival podcast.
As we’ve noted elsewhere on the blog before (including in our recent bootcamp post on the subject) podcasts are a wonderful medium – for one reason, because they are such a flexible medium to work within. Our favourite thing about them is the way you can use an audio format to share different stories and that flexibility was perfect for telling the story of this years festival – where there was such a wide range of subject matter and events to discuss and cover.
Working with the team at DNV, we quickly devised a format for each show – that balanced pushing some of the key messaging from the organising team, as well as behind the scenes style content that bought the festival to life from the inside – mixed with interviews with the key figures behind the festival and some of the key events taking place across the next few weeks.
Each episode ranged in length from 15 minutes to 40 (depending on the conversation) and was designed to be a conversational, easy to listen to podcast with lots of interesting tit-bits of information from across the various themes of the Nene Valley – from heritage, to the arts, to nature and conservation.
Why not check out a recent episode of the podcast featuring an episode with James Dacre from the Royal & Derngate theatres in Northampton below:
In the meantime, to talk to us about podcasting – and how you might be able to make use of it in your own business, be sure to get in touch and talk to us today!
